Cricket News Google dedicates Doodle to Dilip Sardesai on his 78th birth anniversary

first_imgNew Delhi: Google on Wednesday is celebrating the 78th birth anniversary of former Indian cricketer Dilip Sardesai by honouring him with a Google Doodle. Sardesai, often regarded as India’s finest talent against spin bowling made his name in cricket while playing the inter-university Rohinton Baria Trophy in 1959-60, where he smashed 435 runs at a remarkable average of 87.Dilip Sardesai made 87 runs in his first-class debut for Indian Universities against the visiting Pakistan team at Pune in 1960-61.
